Happy Saturday everyone I hope you are all enjoying your weekend? Today is the wedding of Claire and Tom who I have been working with for a year now, their wedding is at Utopia in Skipton North Yorkshire , and it is set to me a magical day! As we speak I will be running around with my clip board making sure that everything is ging to plan! But back to today’s Saturday Cinema and onto todays featured presentation which ahs been sent into me by Sara from Marry me Films.
It’s the wedding of Suzy and Neil who were married on 7th July at St John’s Church, Ashton Hayes with a Papakata tent at Neil’s parent’s house in Chester. It’s a stunner of a wedding from the amazing Papakata tent through to Suzy’s AMAZING Dress (I just love it so much!) BUT the thing that really got me those cute looks that Suzy and Neil gave each other throughout the ceremony, so touching and really made me realise how in love they are!

I asked Sara what her favourite part of the wedding was ‘This is the wedding that very nearly didn’t happen, the day before the wedding there was only a 20% chance that the wedding would be going ahead because of torrential storms there was a river where the tent was supposed to be. But with the help of their family and friends and a very late night digging drainage ditches they managed to pull it off. The Papakata tent looked fantastic and added to Suzy & Neil’s whole laid back approach to the wedding. We also loved the Split the difference VW camper van called Lucy that they travelled to and from the church in. And who could resist the little winks that Suzy gives to Neil, such a lovely couple!
Why do you think a couple should hire a film maker for their wedding ‘We were actually hired by Neil’s sister whose own wedding video is so awful it makes her cry so she was determined that Suzy & Neil would had something wonderful to treasure!’
What do you think make a good wedding video ‘Capturing the connection between two people and the whole mood and feel of the day as discreetly as possible.’
